YPI Scotland Coordinator
Full Time   |   Permanent   |   Salary circa £30,000
Location: Aberdeen with travel throughout Scotland

The Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) is a unique secondary education programme that actively engages young people in their local community, whilst raising awareness about philanthropy.  Each participating school, each year is responsible for directing a £3000 YPI grant to a local charity through a programme of team work, research and competition. YPI Scotland is all about creativity and passion, leaving the four walls of the classroom behind, and supporting the social issues young people care most about.

Working with over 200 secondary schools, with significant plans for growth, the YPI Scotland Coordinator will have a national remit.  The successful candidate must have a passion for supporting the development of young people in Scotland, and will play a vital role in the operational delivery and management of YPI Scotland.  The role requires excellent communication and leadership skills.  Attention to detail with an ability to plan and manage programme delivery in a fast moving team environment, working to clear milestones, is essential.

The Wood Foundation is seeking an experienced programme coordinator. Although a permanent position, the successful candidate will initially provide 12 months maternity cover for the direct responsibilities of the current YPI Scotland Coordinator. Flexibility will be required to support her return to work and further development of the role.
