All Scottish secondary schools are eligible to participate in YPI. For more information, please contact us
Key questions to consider are: which full year group will participate in YPI and through which curricular subject area(s) will you deliver the programme? Both an enthusiastic lead teacher and supportive SLT will be needed.
YPI can be delivered very successfully within many contexts from S2 to S6, through single subject areas including Business Studies, English, RMPS, Social Subjects and PSE, or alongside interdisciplinary programmes.
Explore the website and access our core YPI Scotland Teacher Resource Guide, our video library for top tips and inspiration and our interactive map to see which schools in your area are taking part.
The central team is only ever an email or phone call away. In addition, your school will have a focused regional lead to support both planning and delivery. Visit our Meet the Team page.
“YPI has a huge impact on skill development, and it has supported the school to deliver the Curriculum for Excellence. In addition, it raises the profile of philanthropy. We wanted community involvement for pupils and YPI works so well.”
