Launched in 2011 the STV Children’s Appeal is committed to helping children and young people affected by poverty in Scotland. The money raised by the STV Children’s Appeal helps make a real difference in the lives of Scotland’s children and young people by providing practical help like food and warm clothes; creating opportunities for training and employability; and enabling social and emotional support for those who need it most.
In the last six years the Appeal has raised £13.7 million, making 722 big and small awards across all 32 local authority areas in Scotland, providing much needed support to over 62,000 children. The STV Children’s Appeal has been a national partner of YPI since 2012.

Northwood Charitable Trust, is the philanthropic foundation set up by the Thomson family in Dundee. It is a Scottish registered charity which makes grants, donations or gifts to charities and organisations across Scotland but predominantly within the Dundee and Tayside area.
Northwood established a relationship with YPI in the 2017/18 academic year and provides grant funding across our Dundee secondary school cohort.
Scottish Equity Partner (SEP) is the award-winning venture capital firm behind some of Europe’s most innovative high growth companies and has one of the longest and strongest venture capital track records in Europe having invested in over 150 companies over the last 20 years.
SEP has supported YPI since 2017/18 and look forward to actively supporting, and grant funding, programme activity across our Glasgow secondary school cohort.
The Holywood Trust is a charitable organisation which aims to help young people in Dumfries and Galloway. It gives grants to individuals and organisations, creating opportunities for young people in the region. The trust helps young people (primarily aged between 15 and 25) throughout Dumfries and Galloway fulfil their potential in cultural, educational and social aspects of their lives.

Capital Document Solutions is the largest independent provider of printing, copying & document management solutions in Scotland. Capital Document Solutions first got involved with YPI in the 2017/18 academic year through its Inverness operation ‘Highland Office Equipment’. In 2018/19, Capital is actively supporting and grant funding programme activity across our East Lothian secondary school cohort.
The Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle is an exclusive private members club located in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. There, in a Scottish-Baronial sandstone castle nestled amongst the estate’s 8,000 acres of gardens, woodlands and moors, members enjoy what former proprietor Andrew Carnegie – one of the wealthiest industrialists of the Victorian era and also one of history’s greatest philanthropists – rightly termed ‘Heaven on Earth’.

Renowned internationally but powered locally, The Carnegie Club recognises the importance of supporting its surrounding communities, and is proud to partner with YPI Scotland.
Walkers Shortbread was established over a hundred years ago in Aberlour, Speyside, Scotland. Still an independent family concern to this day, the company is headed by the founder’s grandchildren and great grandchildren, who faithfully maintain the tradition of producing ‘The World’s Finest Shortbread’, biscuits, cakes, oatcakes and meringues to original recipes using only the best possible ingredients – a policy that has earned Walkers a global reputation for quality and excellence.
Walkers has provided direct support, and grant funding, for schools in the Speyside area since 2016.
Set up in the 1960s in Newhall, at the borders of Midlothian and Tweeddale, The Orcome Trust supports projects and applications which have significance for the local area and communities. The Orcome Trust is a small organisation with trustees selected from the local community. It has supported YPI in Midlothian as a Community Partner since 2013.
